I was toying with hotwire a week ago and got a $35/day rate but that was before taxes.

Basically there were NO ACTIVITIES at the Castle week 8, other than the
Tuesday morning owners meeting run by SPM. You can sign up at the activities desk in the lobby for any number of things, she called around for a car for us and we went to the BVI on New Horizons II. I still like the sail boat day better I think after trying the speed boat.

We rented a car once down there and it was $590 for 12 days from Dependable, only thing we could find but it saved us $ compared to taxis. the new Yacht Haven area was great compared to that icky old pink mess that used to be there .... progress is so slow in the USVI.

Try the new restaurant "Thirteen" where the old Ferraris was up on the hill on 33 I believe... was wonderful. Get there early for the view before sunset. The fish and chips was 1/2 charbroiled lobster for $28, well worth it.

I also tried to check on my tax appeal... what a joke... they had no record of my certified return receipt appeal... but even though the time to appeal was past they said it was still open and I filed it again...not much hope for a better outcome though.  Idea We probably need to find an attorney and pool our funds and have them work on it. It' is only the 1BR lockouts at the Castle that got a huge hike from what I have seen in looking.
